EdgeWalk – Toronto’s Newest and Most Extreme Adventure!
Bringing you some of the craziest and most extreme adventures from around the globe has this week brought us to Toronto, Canada to the world’s highest hands-free walking experience; EdgeWalk – around the CN Tower at a magnificent 1,168ft (356m) in the air!
Wearing some hefty harnesses attached to an overhead rail, dare-devils walk around the outside of the tower in groups of 6-8 with some quite spectacularly breath-taking views of Canada’s largest city, Lake Ontario and Buffalo, NY.
The trained guides at the top of the tower encourage the thrill-seeking customers around the famous Tower’s main pod, enticing and encouraging them to push the adrenaline and lean back over the edge – a frightening feat considering the height and magnitude of what is actually going on!
EdgeWalk lasts for 90 minutes in total, with the actual outdoor-experience totalling around 30minutes – and costs $175 (£108) including a commemorative video.
Edge-Walk is safe! Being the world’s highest hands-free walk of course has sky-high safety stipulations, and these international safety & security standards are of course met and adhered to.
This costs roughly about the same as The Highest Bungee Jump in the UK – so what do you think is more extreme, and which would you rather do?

Otis the Skydiving Dog!
Having brought you a couple of the world’s most daring dogs over recent weeks in the shape of Bodhi the Brightonian Skateboarding Dog and Tillman the Snowboarding and Surfing Dog – we’re delighted to this week bring you Otis the Skydiving Pug!
Otis’ proud owner Will Da Silva claims that the fearless pooch has now completed his 64th Tandem Skydive and still loves it as much as the first.
“He’s having a ball – like a dog with his head out of the car window.”
As well as sporting a custom made harness, ten-year-old Otis wears specially designed goggles for his aerial adventures as he free-falls thousands of feet above LA.
Where some have labelled it cruel and unfair on the plucky pug, friend and fellow tandem skydiver ‘SkyDiveRick’ claims that Otis is barking mad for skydiving and has never shown anything but excitement for his sky-walkies.
“This dog simply loves it. LOVES IT. From the moment you pull his specially built harness out, he gets excited in only a way that those who have know him his entire life could understand. Every time has been met with eager anticipation and total cooperation…he has NEVER resisted or shown ANY evidence of dislike for skydiving…in fact the opposite.”
Well this certainly throws a bone in the works as to who is the most extreme dog out there, who do you think is the coolest canine… Bodhi, Tillman or the new challenger from the USA – Otis?

Hi Pål,
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule and talking to us today. So, what have you been up to this year?
Hi guys, no problem it’s a pleasure. Well, this year has been very busy for me so far! I’m in the very privileged position of having 2x Class-1 contracts this season, with two fantastic teams: Maritimo Australia & Chris Parsonage Racing GBR. Having these commitments means I get to travel a lot between races in both the Australian Superboat series and the World Series as well. I try to keep myself fit as well with a bit of Mountain Biking and Squash – as this is important for the racing. I tend to do a lot of promotional work for the sponsors as well…so I’m always busy!
